Multiport subscriber VoIP gateways of the TAU series are designed for transmitting voice and fax information over IP networks. The gateways provide subscribers with high-quality telephone communications that support the operation of an isolated office PBX and with the main set of remote telephone services.

High sound quality
High-performance hardware platform based on the modern Mindspeed chip, support for all major audio codecs used in VoIP networks (G.711, G.723.1, G.726, G.729), echo cancellation functions, silence detector, comfortable noise generator, reception and generation of DTMF signals, as well as traffic prioritization (QoS) mechanisms ensure high quality voice information.

Reservation
If there is no connection with the main SIP server, an automatic switch is made to the backup SIP server while monitoring the performance of the main one. If communication with both IP telephony servers is lost, local communication between the gateway subscribers remains possible.

Ease of use
An intuitive multilingual management interface and support for group automated management tools based on the TR-069 and DHCP protocols (DHCP-autoprovisioning) ensure ease of use of an unlimited number of TAU gateways on the operator’s network.

For mass operation of gateways on the network, Eltex offers a unified monitoring and management system Eltex.EMS. The system provides centralized management of a group of gateways with the ability to monitor ports through a single web interface.
